Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist Consultant to join our Occupational Health Centre (OHC). The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting employee health, preventing work-related injuries, and delivering high-quality physiotherapy care within an industrial/organizational setting.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care & Rehabilitation
- Conduct physiotherapy assessments and provide evidence-based treatment for work-related musculoskeletal issues, ergonomic concerns, and general physical conditions.
- Develop individualized rehabilitation plans and follow-up schedules for employees.
- Provide manual therapy, exercise therapy, posture correction, ergonomic training, and preventive care.
OHC & Workplace Support
- Support the Occupational Health Centre in daily clinical operations and ensure smooth patient flow.
- Collaborate with the OHC team—including doctors, nurses, and OH officers—to ensure coordinated and holistic employee care.
- Conduct workplace ergonomic assessments and propose corrective measures to reduce injury risks.
- Assist in identifying potential occupational hazards related to posture, lifting, repetitive stress, and workstation design.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR/clinical documentation for all treated employees.
- Ensure adherence to Occupational Health standards, company policies, and relevant regulations such as the Factories Act.
- Prepare periodic reports on physiotherapy cases, trends, and preventive recommendations.
Health Promotion Activities
- Participate in employee wellness programs, health camps, and awareness sessions focused on ergonomics, injury prevention, and physical fitness.
- Conduct training workshops on stretching, posture management, and safe workplace practices.
Qualifications
- BPT / MPT (minimum requirement: BPT)
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience; experience in Occupational Health or industrial setup is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ergonomic assessments, workplace injury management, and preventive physiotherapy strategies.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and ergonomic evaluation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle employee consultations independently with professionalism and empathy.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and computer operations.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary OHC staff.
- Strong observation and problem-solving abilities.
