We are currently seeking a qualified Consultant in Psychiatry to join a Government Healthcare Facility, where you will play a vital role in enhancing mental health services for the community.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist in this government setting, your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health disorders.
You will be working in a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive mental health care while contributing to public health initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients referred to the facility.
- Diagnose a variety of mental health conditions and collaborate on developing effective treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and manage pharmacological treatments as appropriate.
- Monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide expert crisis intervention for patients in acute distress.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and the importance of adherence to treatment.

Qualifications
