Consultant Pulmonologist- Private Healthcare Sector

SearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced Consultant Pulmonologist to join the private healthcare sector. This role offers the opportunity to provide expert respiratory care to patients within a private healthcare setting known for its commitment to excellence and patient-centered services.

As a Consultant Pulmonologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of respiratory conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the overall patient care strategy in the private sector. You will employ advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques to improve pulmonary health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with respiratory symptoms and disorders.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, and bronchoscopy.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans for various pulmonary diseases including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases, and lung cancers.
  • Provide consultation and follow-up care for complex respiratory cases.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals within the private healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records and documentation consistent with regulatory standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of advancements in pulmonology.



Requirements
  • Medical degree with specialization in Pulmonology and current license to practice.
  • Proven experience as a Consultant Pulmonologist within the private healthcare sector preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of respiratory diseases, diagnostics, and treatments.
  • Expertise in pulmonary diagnostic procedures including PFTs, bronchoscopy, and imaging interpretation.
  • Exceptional clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for patient and multidisciplinary team engagement.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage a diverse patient caseload.
  • Board certification in Pulmonology is desirable.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
