Requirements

What You’ll Do:

• Participates in ETL Design of new or changing mappings and workflows with the team and prepares technical specifications.
• Creates ETL Mappings, Mapplets, Workflows, Worklets using Informatica PowerCenter and prepare corresponding documentation.
• Designs and builds integrations supporting standard data warehousing objects.
• Performs source system analysis as required.
• Works with DBAs and Data Architects to plan and implement appropriate data partitioning strategy in Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Implements versioning of the ETL repository and supporting code as necessary.
• Develops stored procedures, database triggers and SQL queries where needed.
• Implements best practices and tunes SQL code for optimization.
• Works with XML's, XML parser, Java and HTTP transformation within Informatica.
• Understanding the business rules and sourcing the data from multiple source systems using IICS.
• Designing and customizing data models for Data warehouse supporting data from multiple sources
• Technically strong in task flow design, dependencies, and scheduling Hands-on experience in following stages (Lookup, unconnected Lookup, Expression, Join, Normalizer, Hierarchical stage, sort, Aggregator, etc.
• Implement data quality checks and standardization in the code.
• Extracting data and transforming the data based on user requirements using IICS.
• Deploy mappings that will run in a scheduled batch or real-time environment.
• Integrating data to/from On-premise database and cloud-based database solutions using Informatica intelligent cloud services.
• Working with cloud-based database solutions including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Store, AWS Redshift, and Snowflake.
• Document all mappings, mapplets and rules in detail and hand over documentation to the customer.

• Collaborate with various business and technical teams to gather requirements around data quality rules and propose the optimization of these rules as applicable.

Skills & Experience we value:

• 3-6 years experience professionals
• Strong skills and robust experience in Informatica PowerCenter and IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services)
• Strong SQL skills and performance tuning capabilities.
• Excellent knowledge of the Informatica platform as a whole and the integration among different Informatica components and services.
• Excellent data analysis and data profiling skills using Informatica and Excel.
• Strong experience in infrastructure architecture, such as designing, hardware sizing, effort estimation and security.
• Good to have skillset: Experience with Azure, Data Warehouse.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Science, or a related field.
