Consultant Surgical Oncologist - Private Sector

As a Consultant Surgical Oncologist in the private sector, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and surgically treating cancer patients with the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and surgical management for patients with various types of cancer
• Execute complex oncological surgeries with precision and adherence to best practices
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists to formulate integrated treatment plans
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery, managing any surgical complications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with private sector regulations
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, surgical procedures, risks, and post-operative care
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of innovations in surgical oncology

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialization and board certification in Surgical Oncology
• Proven experience performing complex surgical oncology procedures in a private healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of cancer pathophysiology, surgical techniques, and treatment options
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize effectively in a high-demand environment
• Detailed oriented with excellent clinical documentation skills
