Job Description

Cresset is seeking a Consultant, Talent Acquisition (CTA) to support hiring needs in all areas of the company. All hiring is budgeted headcount in our fast-growing environment working directly with the hiring managers. It is full-life cycle recruiting in an RIA environment which will include packages that have equity in the company. The CTA will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, offer approval processes, extending offers, and closing candidates and positions. The primary focus will be interns, operations, and support. The CTA will report to the Managing Director, Talent Acquisition. This position is a hybrid role base out of Chicago, IL.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct full-life cycle recruitment for all functions including and not limited to interns, operations, and support
  • Develop and maintain and strong pipeline of active and passive candidates; utilize our applicant tracking system and LinkedIn Recruiter to source candidates
  • Meet with hiring managers to understand the needs of each team; help construct job descriptions within our company structure by partnering with Human Resources
  • Prioritize with the CPO, CFO and HR on the open positions that are in the budget; ability to manage time appropriately from leadership
  • Handle all candidates with high-touch and strong communication; be a brand ambassador by representing Cresset to the best of their abilities
  • Be a business partner focused on building and strengthening partnerships both internally and externally


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; Business, Human Resources degree preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in as a Recruiter in financial services; wealth management experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in our ATS system (Paycom) and LinkedIn Recruiter with strong documentation and project strategy skills
  • Superior project management, problem-solving and time management skills; ability to perform well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – relationship development and negotiating skills and ability to work across multiple lines of business with colleagues at all levels
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through and an ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to exercise judgment in managing confidential or sensitive information
  • Demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional client service
  • High degree of professionalism and flexibility in a demanding and frequently changing environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook
  • Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and enhance the business in keeping with Cresset’s values and culture


What We Offer:

As a consultant on the team, we are considering candidates in the $45-70/hour range. The project will be through October 1, 2026 with the opportunity to become a full-time employee.
