SearchPlus HR is excited to announce an opening for a Consultant/Specialist in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join our dedicated team. In this essential role, you will deliver immediate care to pediatric patients in high-stress situations, ensuring their safety and well-being during emergencies. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing medical conditions and injuries, and implementing effective treatment plans tailored for children. You will work in partnership with a team of health professionals to provide the highest standards of pediatric care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expertly assess and manage acute medical conditions in pediatric patients.
  • Diagnose and provide timely treatment for a wide range of pediatric emergencies.
  • Perform medical procedures and interventions in accordance with best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to facilitate efficient care and patient management.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear guidance and education about care processes.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions and care provided.
  • Engage in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications
  • A medical degree with completion of residency in Pediatrics; fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine preferred.
  • Current board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
  • Proven experience in a Pediatric Emergency Department setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pediatric emergency protocols, treatment guidelines, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to patients, families, and medical colleagues effectively.
  • Capability to perform well under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
  • A commitment to the highest standards of patient care and continuous quality improvement.
  • Availability for on-call duties and flexible scheduling, including weekends as needed.
