Role Overview

We are looking for a Consulting Analyst to support business consulting and advisory projects through strong financial modeling, MIS reporting, and data-driven insights. This role is execution-heavy initially, with clear growth into a Consulting Lead position over 6–9 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare business and financial models including revenue, cost structures, and projections
• Build and maintain dashboards and MIS reports (monthly, weekly, client-wise)
• Support consulting engagements with data analysis, insights, and structured reports
• Prepare client presentations, reports, and review decks
• Coordinate with accounts, legal, and operations teams to collect and validate client data
• Participate in client review calls and clearly explain financial numbers and insights
• Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables; proactively flag risks and delays

Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)

• Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (advanced formulas, logical structuring)
• Proven experience in MIS preparation and dashboard reporting
• Good working knowledge of:
• Profit & Loss statements
• Cash flow management
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Revenue models
• Clear spoken communication skills with the ability to explain numbers to founders and senior stakeholders
• Strong structured thinking and problem-solving skills (beyond data entry)

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

• Exposure to Power BI / Zoho Analytics
• Prior experience in consulting, CA firms, or advisory roles
• Experience in client-facing responsibilities

Role Split

• 70% Execution – Data preparation, MIS, models, reports
• 20% Analysis – Insights, trends, recommendations
• 10% Client Interaction – Calls, reviews, explanations (initial phase)

Career Growth

This role offers a clear progression path. Over 6–9 months, the Consulting Analyst can grow into a Consulting Lead, handling deeper analysis, client ownership, and strategic responsibilities.
