Job Summary

The Consulting Doctor provides expert medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations to patients on a consultation basis. The role involves assessing patient conditions, offering second opinions, guiding treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients through in-person or teleconsultations.
• Review medical histories, diagnostic tests, and clinical findings.
• Provide accurate diagnoses and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
• Offer second opinions and specialist consultations when required.
• Explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care clearly to patients and families.
• Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Ensure continuity of care through proper referrals and follow-ups.
• Work closely with clinic staff, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Coordinate with primary care physicians or specialists for comprehensive care.
• Provide expert guidance to junior doctors or clinical staff when needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and consultation notes.
• Ensure compliance with medical ethics, clinic policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality standards.
