Consumer Finance Officer - Retail Credit

Role Objective:

As part of Consumer Finance, the Consumer Finance Officer under Operations department will have the responsibility of evaluating and present credit applications to underwriters forwarded by the various channels with granted limit of the bank. The Officer will also be responsible for collecting and maintaining statistics about the quality of the retail finance portfolio and the effectiveness of the credit granting workflow. In addition to also be contributing to the discussions on development or review of credit policies.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:

Credit Policies and Procedures:

• Contribute to review existing Consumer Credit Policies, to ensure we meet the market need, Business opportunity and achieve growth, profit target.

• Review and implements finance sales control mechanism for processed and rejected finances, to ensure that the Credit policies are consistently followed.

Credit Analysis and Post-fact/ Pre-fact Review:

• Observe our existing finance and portfolios to take the appropriate action against potential loss.

• Conduct an independent Personal Finance Credit review and highlights findings and recommendations to Team Leader / Manager Consumer Finance -Retail Credit.

Credit Review and Approval:

• Reviews of the credit applications forwarded by the Branch managers to ensure completeness and correctness.
• Evaluates the application against the policy and confirm the branch manager's identification of exception, if any.
• Evaluate the application against the policy and recommend credit applications, documents of finance utilization Vs. its purpose, upgrade and card maintenance to the manager of RCU for approval.
• Assure correctness of finance application documents and Murabaha system entries.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, or Finance, Commerce, Economics.

Experience:

• 2+ years in credit administration preferred.
