Consumer Support Ticket Agent

Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and dedicated Customer Support Agent to join our team. In this role, you will help customers with their questions and issues, providing clear and helpful guidance. You don’t need to be an IT expert—we provide training to help you support users with software, devices, and basic technical problems. This is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and make a positive impact by helping customers feel confident and supported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer support requests via email, chat, or ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Assist customers with basic technical issues, such as software problems or device setup.
  • Help troubleshoot computer or mobile device problems and guide users through simple solutions.
  • Provide clear instructions for common IT tasks like password resets, logging into accounts, or connecting to networks.
  • Escalate more complex issues to experienced team members while keeping the customer informed.
  • Document customer interactions accurately to ensure follow-up and issue tracking.
  • Maintain a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude in all customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Interest in customer service and helping people solve problems.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn about software, devices, and networks.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to explain things clearly.
  • Ability to stay organized and handle multiple customer requests at the same time.
  • Patience, empathy, and a customer-focused mindset.

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, or mobile devices.
  • Interest in learning more about networks, servers, or IT tools.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or help desk environment is a bonus but not required.
