CONTAINER (Drayage) Trucking Dispatcher

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL

Shift: 8am - 5pm (Monday - Friday)

Pay: $23 - $25 per hour (Decision pending interview)

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dispatcher
• Must be able to type at least 250 keystrokes per minute

About the Role

As an Intermodal Dispatcher, you will be a key member of our driver dispatch team, coordinating the movement of containers to and from Chicago rail terminals. We're seeking someone who is ready to take on challenges, learn the ins and outs of the drayage industry, and help drive our operations forward.

Responsibilities Include

• Coordinating the pickup and delivery of containers between rail yards, customers, and drivers.
• Assisting drivers and coordinating with other team members to resolve equipment issues.
• Managing and scheduling driver assignments to meet customer deadlines.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards.
• Communicating effectively with rail yards, drivers, other team members, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
• Resolving any logistical issues quickly and efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
