Content and Public Relations Intern

About the role

The Content and Public Relations (PR) Intern will support the Marketing Communications team by helping create high-quality, compelling content and assisting with initiatives that will elevate Credo’s brand awareness. The intern will write and edit content for external communications, brand storytelling, product campaigns, and media engagement efforts. In addition, the intern will help uncover relevant marketing and media opportunities and work cross-functionally to support the team’s goals and strategy.


Hourly Pay is $20.


Summer Internship will start May/June .

Responsibilities

  • Source, write, and edit content including blogs, web pages and social posts.
  • Assist with writing and editing copy for campaigns, announcements and other marketing materials.
  • Write and edit articles for the intranet that help employees learn more about our products, the industry, milestones and successes.
  • Conduct research to identify relevant PR opportunities such as awards, speaking engagements, industry events, and technical paper submissions.
  • Support general marketing communications projects as needed.


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing, or related field.
  • Comfortable editing, proofreading, and giving/receiving feedback.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for writing.
  • Experience creating content for class projects, student publications, blogs, newsletters, or campus organizations.
  • Experience working collaboratively or as part of a team.
