Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Content & Communications Coordinator. This remote role is ideal for a journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or English student looking to gain real-world agency experience. Strong writing skills are required. The ideal candidate enjoys storytelling, professional communication, and creating polished content for businesses.
Responsibilities
- Write captions for social media posts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Match photos with compelling messaging and brand voice
- Draft email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional emails
- Write press releases, PR statements, announcements, and media materials
- Send community outreach emails for sponsorships, partnerships, and networking opportunities
- Proofread all written materials for grammar, tone, and professionalism
- Research media contacts, community opportunities, and content ideas
- Assist with content calendars and campaign planning
- Collaborate remotely with management on deadlines, edits, and creative direction
Qualifications
- Excellent writing, grammar, and proofreading skills required
- Current college student or recent graduate in Journalism, Communications, PR, Marketing, English, or related field preferred
- Ability to write in multiple tones for different brands and industries
- Organized, dependable, and deadline-oriented
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Familiarity with Canva or Mailchimp is a plus but not required

Schedule
Part-time: 5–10 hours per week based on workload.
Required Availability: Must be available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Fully remote position.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
