Content Coordinator

This role includes a combination of scheduled in-studio content capture shifts, remote content work, and weekly planning meetings.

The Content Coordinator will complete:

  • 1 required in-studio content capture shift weekly (approximately 3–4 hours)
  • Additional remote hours for editing, scheduling, engagement, analytics, and content planning
  • A required weekly marketing check-in meeting with the Director
  • Additional event coverage as needed during performances, enrollment campaigns, showcases, Open House events, and special studio activities

The weekly schedule will be determined in advance and should remain as consistent as possible throughout the season. Team members are expected to meet deadlines, maintain communication, and complete deliverables on schedule.

In-studio content capture shifts will rotate throughout the month to capture different programs, classes, rehearsals, and events. Typical studio availability includes:

  • Monday–Thursday: 5:15 PM–9:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

Overview

Norma’s Academy of Dance is a vibrant dance studio located in Fairburn, Georgia. For over 50 years, our studio has served families in the South Fulton community by providing high-quality dance education in a supportive and inspiring environment.

We are seeking a creative, organized, and dependable Marketing & Content Coordinator to help strengthen our brand presence, connect with families online, and showcase the energy and excellence of our studio.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling through content, understands social media strategy, and can capture authentic moments that reflect the heart of our programs and community.

The Marketing & Content Coordinator will support the studio through content creation, social media management, community engagement, and promotional support for programs, performances, enrollment campaigns, and events.

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing & Content Coordinator is an ambassador of and should embody our mission and values in every interaction and piece of content.

Content Creation & Scheduling

  • Create and schedule 3–4 Instagram and Facebook posts weekly based on the approved content calendar
  • Post approximately 10–15 Instagram/Facebook Stories weekly
  • Create 1-2 TikTok videos weekly
  • Film and edit short-form video (Reels, Stories) using provided footage or captured on-site
  • Capture content during classes, rehearsals, performances, and studio events
  • Design graphics using Canva and approved studio brand templates
  • Help maintain a cohesive and professional visual brand across platforms
  • Build and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with enrollment goals, events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns

Community Management

  • Respond to comments and direct messages within 24 hours during assigned workdays
  • Flag inquiries, leads, or customer concerns to the Enrollment & Communications Manager
  • Monitor brand mentions, reviews, and audience engagement

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track weekly social media performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, and inquiries
  • Submit a brief monthly performance report with content insights and recommendations
  • Help identify which content types drive trials, enrollment inquiries, and registrations

Event & Program Support

  • Create promotional content for upcoming events, concerts, enrollment windows
  • Coordinate with the director on timing, messaging, and call-to-action for each campaign
  • Attend select studio events and performances for content capture

Operations

  • Maintain organized asset library (photos, videos, graphics) in a shared folder
  • Keep content calendars updated and accessible to leadership
  • Document recurring workflows and systems for future consistency and scalability
  • Support additional light marketing or communication projects as assigned
  • Attend a weekly marketing check-in meeting with the Director

Required Skills & Software Knowledge

Preferred experience with:

  • Canva
  • Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok platforms
  • Short-form video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar apps
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
  • Content scheduling platforms (Later, Meta Business Suite, etc.) is a plus

Dance experience or familiarity with the dance, arts, or youth education space is helpful but not required.

Compensation

$20–22/hour depending on experience, skill level, and portfolio quality.

Potential for additional hours and expanded responsibilities during major enrollment campaigns, performances, and studio growth periods.

There is opportunity for long-term growth into a larger marketing, communications, or brand management role for the right candidate.
