Role

The Content Creation Executive is responsible for building and executing the founder-led brand content strategy across social media platforms. This role combines content ideation, research, production, and creation%u2014handling everything from conceptualizing content ideas to capturing footage with phone/camera to creating polished deliverables using AI tools. You will work closely with the CEO to develop their personal brand, create engaging content that demonstrates thought leadership in AI transformation, and grow audience engagement through consistent, high-quality content output. This role requires a unique blend of creative vision, technical production skills, social media expertise, and the ability to leverage AI tools to amplify productivity. Success means consistently delivering content that resonates with the target audience, grows engagement, and positions the CEO as a leading voice in the AI transformation space.

Requirements (For An Ideal Candidate)

  • Content Creation Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as content creator with portfolio of content you can solely put your name to. Demonstrated ability to create engaging social media content from ideation through execution. Portfolio must show variety%u2014video, images, carousels, written content. Evidence of understanding what makes content perform on social platforms.
  • Production Skills: Proficient with smartphone and camera for content capture. Can shoot high-quality photos and video using available equipment. Understands basics of composition, lighting, and framing. Comfortable directing people on camera. Can capture authentic, compelling footage that tells a story. Organized with digital asset management.
  • Social Media Expertise: Deep understanding of social media platforms%u2014Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok. Knows what content performs well on each platform and why. Stays current with platform trends, features, and algorithm changes. Can identify trending formats and adapt them for our brand. Understands audience behavior and psychology on social platforms.
  • Research & Curation Skills: Exceptional at researching content ideas, trends, and industry developments. Knows where to find inspiration and relevant information. Can synthesize complex topics into engaging content concepts. Identifies what's resonating in the market and why. Stays ahead of trends rather than following them.
  • Storytelling & Taste: Innate sense for what makes compelling content. Strong storytelling ability across formats%u2014visual, written, and video. Can identify engaging narratives and angles. Taste level is high%u2014knows what looks good, sounds authentic, and feels engaging. Can evaluate content quality and know what will resonate with audience.
  • AI Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using AI tools for content creation%u2014ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, and similar. Excited about AI as creative amplifier, not replacement. Can prompt AI effectively to get desired outputs. Knows when to use AI and when human touch is essential. Continually explores new AI content tools and capabilities.
  • Design Skills: Proficient with Canva for creating social graphics, carousels, and visual content. Strong eye for design, layout, and aesthetics. Can create on-brand visual content that looks professional. Understands color, typography, and composition basics. Able to work from brand guidelines while staying creative.

Responsibilities

  • Content Ideation & Strategy: Generate compelling content ideas for the founder-led brand that align with business goals and audience interests. Stay current with trends in AI transformation, business automation, and SME technology adoption. Research what content is performing well in the industry and among competitors. Identify opportunities for thought leadership and unique perspectives. Propose content themes, series, and campaigns. Balance educational content, thought leadership, case studies, and engagement-focused posts.
  • Content Research & Development: Conduct deep research on topics the CEO should cover. Find relevant statistics, case studies, industry reports, and news to support content. Research audience pain points and questions to address. Identify content gaps in the market. Stay informed about AI developments, tools, and applications relevant to our audience. Synthesize research into clear, compelling content concepts.
  • Delivery Vehicle Selection: Determine the optimal format for each content idea%u2014Instagram Reel, LinkedIn post, carousel, static image, video, story, etc. Understand platform-specific best practices and algorithm preferences. Match content type to message and audience behavior. Plan content mix across formats to maximize reach and engagement. Adapt successful content across multiple platforms and formats.
  • Content Production & Capture: Use phone and camera to capture high-quality photos and video footage for content. Shoot the CEO on camera%u2014interviews, talking heads, B-roll, behind-the-scenes. Direct the CEO during shoots to get the best content. Capture authentic moments and compelling visuals. Ensure good lighting, framing, and audio quality. Organize and manage raw content files. Prepare content packages ready for video editor to process and finalize.
  • AI-Assisted Content Creation: Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, etc.) to create 80% of content output. Generate social media copy, captions, headlines, and scripts using AI. Create visual assets using AI image generation tools. Use AI for ideation, editing, and refinement. Balance AI efficiency with authentic brand voice. Polish AI outputs to ensure quality and brand consistency.
  • Visual Design & Graphics: Create visually appealing graphics, carousels, and static posts using Canva. Design on-brand templates and visual systems for consistent look. Edit and enhance photos for social media. Create text overlays, infographics, and branded graphics. Ensure all visual content is aesthetically pleasing and professionally designed.
  • Ad Creative Development: Develop ad creative concepts for paid campaigns. Create multiple ad variations for testing%u2014images, copy, and formats. Design performance-focused creative optimized for conversions. Work with Growth Marketing team to understand what's performing and iterate. Balance brand storytelling with direct response principles.
  • Content Calendar Management: Maintain content calendar ensuring consistent 5+ pieces per week. Plan content themes and campaigns in advance. Balance evergreen and timely content. Coordinate content timing with business priorities and campaigns. Track what's published and ensure no gaps in content flow.
  • Platform Optimization: Optimize content for each platform's unique requirements and best practices. Understand ideal formats, lengths, hashtags, and posting times for LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Stay current with platform algorithm changes and feature updates. Adapt content strategy based on platform performance.
  • Engagement Growth: Drive 10% month-over-month growth in content engagement metrics. Analyze what content performs best and double down on winners. Experiment with new formats and approaches. Engage with audience comments and conversations. Identify and leverage trending topics and formats. Optimize posting strategy based on performance data.
  • Content Quality Control: Ensure all content meets high standards for quality, accuracy, and brand consistency. Review content for errors, tone, and messaging before publication. Maintain brand voice and visual identity across all content. Fact-check claims and statistics. Polish AI-generated content to sound authentic and human.
  • Collaboration with Video Editor: Package content for video editor with clear direction and requirements. Provide raw footage organized and labeled for easy editing. Communicate vision and desired outcome for each piece. Review edited videos and provide feedback. Ensure smooth handoff and collaboration workflow.
  • Performance Analysis: Track content performance metrics%u2014views, engagement rate, reach, shares, comments, saves. Identify patterns in what content resonates most.
