Job Description – Content Creator

Role Purpose
The Content Creator will be responsible for planning, producing, and publishing high-quality digital content that strengthens brand presence, drives engagement, and supports marketing objectives. This role requires creativity, storytelling skills, and a strong understanding of social media trends. The Content Creator will collaborate with designers, videographers, and the marketing team to deliver impactful content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and the company website.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Planning & Strategy
- Develop content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and organizational goals.
- Research industry trends, competitor content, and audience behaviour to create relevant content themes.
- Propose new content formats that boost engagement and brand value.
2. Content Creation – Visual & Written
- Write scripts, captions, blogs, and ad copies for multiple platforms.
- Create short-form video content (Reels, Shorts), motion graphics, and promotional videos.
- Develop creative concepts for educational, promotional, and storytelling content.
- Collaborate with the design team to produce high-quality graphics, infographics, and creatives.
3. Social Media Execution
- Manage posting schedules across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Optimize posts for reach, engagement, and conversions using platform insights.
- Ensure brand consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all content.
4. Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Monitor engagement, reach, impressions, and audience insights using analytics tools.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for the Marketing Manager.
- Adjust content strategies based on analytics, trends, and campaign requirements.
5. Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and academic teams to gather information for content.
- Coordinate with videographers, editors, and creative teams for timely content production.
- Support marketing events with live coverage, photography, and real-time content creation.
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Content Output – Number of creatives, videos, and posts produced monthly.
- Engagement Rate – Likes, comments, shares, and saves across platforms.
- Reach & Impressions – Growth in audience reach on key platforms.
- Lead Support – Contribution of content to lead generation campaigns.
- Brand Consistency – Quality, accuracy, and alignment with brand voice.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong creative thinking and storytelling ability.
- Excellent writing skills for social media, blogs, and marketing content.
- Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.).
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop preferred).
- Understanding of social media algorithms and trends.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
- Portfolio of previous content (mandatory).
