This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands what makes people stop scrolling, and knows how to turn everyday moments into content people actually want to watch.

As our Content Creator, you’ll work closely with Mike to capture real moments behind the brand, the business moves, podcast conversations, behind-the-scenes content, lifestyle moments, and everything in between, and transform them into engaging short-form videos designed for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video content for Mike Barron’s social media channels, especially Instagram (@themikebarron1)
• Film short-form vertical content designed for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Follow Mike during business activities, podcasts, events, meetings, and day-to-day operations to capture authentic behind-the-scenes moments
• Edit content quickly into polished, engaging videos built for strong performance on social media
• Pull strong moments from long-form content such as podcasts, events, interviews, and conversations, then turn them into short-form clips
• Add captions, hooks, graphics, pacing, and other creative elements that improve retention and engagement
• Stay plugged into current social media trends, formats, editing styles, and viral content patterns
• Collaborate with the marketing and content team to plan, brainstorm, and execute content ideas
• Help develop creative concepts, recurring content series, and fresh storytelling angles for Mike’s personal brand
• Repurpose content across multiple platforms to maximize reach and efficiency
• Organize footage and maintain a clean archive for future edits and reposting opportunities
• Manage and maintain video gear, making sure equipment is always ready for shoot days
• Support consistent content output by helping the team stay on track with production needs and posting goals

Qualifications / Requirements

• Proven experience in content creation, with a strong portfolio that includes social media work
• Strong editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Solid understanding of what works on different social platforms and how to tailor content for each one
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Creative eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and detail
• Able to manage multiple projects, move quickly, and meet deadlines
• Willingness and flexibility to travel for on-site shoots when needed

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of video production techniques.
• Familiarity with tools like Adobe After Effects for creating quick social media assets.
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics to evaluate video performance and optimize content.

The position is Full-Time on-site between the hours of 8:00AM - 5:00PM Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Should also be available for travel (scheduled in advance) sometimes during weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
