Job Summary:
The Content Creator is responsible for producing high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content that supports XPEL’s business goals across all digital and social channels. This role focuses on the creation and execution of compelling visual and written content across all business lines, events, campaigns, and initiatives, working in close collaboration with the Social Media Manager and broader strategy and marketing teams.
Core Duties
- Create innovative, relevant, original, and high-quality creative content to be used across multiple platforms and channels.
- Manage and maintain day-to-day content curation in support of institutional awareness, events, and success stories.
- Grow the business presence across social media channels and communities, including, but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Measure and report performance, use analytics to determine future and content strategy
- Own the development and maintenance of a content calendar, for daily operational use and forecasting/planning digital needs
- Support other marketing, branding and promotional activities as necessary to support XPEL’s sales and marketing objectives
- Travel to events to support events and onsite content projects
- This position will support marine, auto, and architectural business line events
- Monitor trends in tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of social media for national and international market presence
- Strategize with and educate the management team and others across the company on incorporating relevant web and social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all the company’s products and services
Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing and communication campaign efforts
Basic Qualifications
- BS/BA in Marketing, communications, or equivalent experience
- Above average experience and knowledge of content management platforms, social media integrations and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or other word processing software
- Strong written & verbal communication skills (Must also need to be comfortable on camera during social media live stream)
- Ability to travel 30-40% to events
- Ability to work well with others both in person and across other offices through remote communications
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and integrate with geographically dispersed leaders and teams
- Strong problem-solving ability with prioritization and attention to detail
