MaidCentral is seeking a creative, self-driven Content Creator and Distributor to support our marketing team. This individual will be responsible for producing, repurposing, and managing high-quality multimedia content that drives engagement, educates our SaaS audience, and supports broader revenue and brand awareness goals. Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, the Content Creator will work in alignment with the Director of Revenue’s strategic vision.
This role blends writing, video production, AI-enabled content development, and editorial planning, supporting both our internal marketing initiatives and a professional external periodical.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate in developing and maintaining an editorial calendar in coordination with the Marketing Manager.
- Produce and publish various types of content including:
- Blog articles (SEO, GEO, and AEO-focused, product education, thought leadership)
- Case studies and client success profiles
- Video blogs (vlogs) using historical and newly recorded footage from training events and livestreams
- Monthly eNewsletters for both the SaaS product and professional periodical
- Social media snippets and repurposed content from long-form formats
- Leverage AI tools for:
- Content ideation, drafting, and editing
- Workflow optimization and scheduling
- Research and content curation
- Interview clients or internal SMEs to develop human-centered stories and profiles
- Ensure content is optimized for SEO (Search Engine Optimization), GEO (Geographical Engine Optimization), and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) to maximize discoverability and audience relevance
- Monitor content performance and iterate based on analytics
- Support production and delivery of journalism-style pieces for an external industry periodical (topics assigned by editorial staff or internal stakeholders)
Key Deliverables
- 4–6 blog posts per month (long- and short-form mix)
- 1–2 case studies or client profiles per month
- Bi-weekly or monthly vlogs using internal and event video content
- Monthly eNewsletter for both the SaaS company and the professional periodical
- 1–2 journalism-style articles per month (if assigned)
- Regular social content derived from long-form assets
- Updated editorial calendar with at least 3 months of visibility
- Quarterly content performance reports
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
- Content output: Meets or exceeds volume and frequency expectations
- Engagement rates: (e.g., time on page, bounce rate, social shares)
- Lead generation contribution: content-assisted conversions or MQLs
- Search performance:
- SEO: organic traffic growth, keyword ranking improvements
- GEO: location-based visibility and relevance
- AEO: featured snippets, FAQ schema performance, and AI-assistant-readiness
- Newsletter metrics: open rate, click-through rate (CTR), unsubscribe rate
- Video performance: views, average watch time, and completion rate
- AI efficiency gain: measurable time saved or output increased via AI workflows
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional content creation and distribution experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology-focused setting
- Demonstrated experience with video editing, blog writing, and long-form storytelling
- Demonstrated success with enhancing brand recognition and trust through distribution across various channels, with emphasis in social media channels such as Meta, LinkedIn, Google/YouTube, Reddit, etc
- Strong grasp of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, GrammarlyGO, Descript, etc.) as part of the content lifecycle
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot), and analytics dashboards (e.g., GA4)
- Working knowledge of SEO, GEO, and AEO principles and how they apply to written and video content
- Exceptional writing, interviewing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
- Comfortable managing deadlines, editorial calendars, and multiple projects simultaneously
- Journalism, marketing, communications, or English degree preferred
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
