Position Summary

The Lesniak Institute for American Leadership, led by Senator Raymond Lesniak, is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist Intern with a focus on content creation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of producing and managing content for social media, including skills in: graphic designing, copywriting, script writing, website management, and social media analytics. This position will also require collaboration with the creative department during live events, including media coverage, photography, and videography. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in both online and in-person media work, especially within the nonprofit sector.

Qualifications/Skills

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or Business Marketing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, Capcut)
• Responsible for creating and scheduling engaging social media content
• Experience with Data Analytics throughout all platforms
• Basic Understanding of SEO

• Website Management
• Providing support to our social media team at live events
