Content Creator / Graphics Designer

Overview

The CMC Triggers | San Tan Tactical | SOUSA Optics Graphic Designer will be actively involved in all marketing content creation. Projects will include digital, print, photo/video and any other creative assets needed to promote CMC Triggers | San Tan Tactical | SOUSA Optics. Work environment is fast paced and challenging. Must be able and willing to evolve and adapt quickly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work directly with the Marketing and Sales teams to produce a wide range of sales and marketing assets.
• Participate in planning and execution of CMC | STT | SOUSA OPTICS marketing plans
• Social media content creation
• Participate in video and photo projects
• Participate in complete marketing cycle of CMC | STT | SOUSA OPTICS products
• Specific projects and design responsibilities subject to change depending on team timelines and needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational degree and/or practical work experience focused in graphic design, advertising, or Marketing
• Solid understanding of graphic design elements and principles
• Must provide a design portfolio
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop. Illustrator, InDesign, OTHER: Audition, Premier Pro OR Final Cut Pro a major plus
• Experience in photography and video is a bonus
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Solid project management, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to proofread your own work and catch errors.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work and thrive in ambiguity
• Team player
• Firearms knowledge or willingness to learn

Working Conditions

This is an in-house / full time position at our HQ in Fort Worth, TX or a hybrid role with industry experience might be negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling written content for websites, blogs, social media, and marketing materials that reflect our brand voice.
• Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing content, including graphics, layouts, and illustrations.
• Utilize tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and WordPress to enhance content presentation.
• Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and relevance in all written materials.
• Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve online visibility.
• Manage content across various platforms using content management systems.
• Assist in the art direction of projects by providing input on branding elements such as logo design and typography.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for campaigns and projects.
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in content writing or a related field with a strong portfolio showcasing writing samples.
• Proficiency in digital design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, CorelDRAW, Sketch, and Figma.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and motion graphics is preferred.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and the ability to apply them effectively in writing.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
• Knowledge of color theory, typography, layout design, visual design principles, and print advertising is a plus.
• Experience in photography or photo manipulation is beneficial for enhancing written content visually.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
