Content Creator - Photographer & Videographer

Summary: The Content Creator is a creative powerhouse responsible for developing, implementing, and managing intentional media across all internal and external channels. Beyond content posting, this individual will capture, edit, and curate compelling videography and photography, showcasing the unique Polo Club culture, and bring the brand to life. This role connects intentional storytelling directly to the Club's mission, ensuring high-quality, authentic communication that drives Member engagement and retention.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role where no two days look the same. Due to the scope of the role, attendance is required for events that will fall in the evenings, on weekends, and holidays.

You will work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to bring ideas to life, support club-wide initiatives, and create meaningful experiences for our Members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

I. Multimedia Content Creation & Strategy

  • Photography & Videography: Serve as the primary visual storyteller for the Club. Shoot and professionally edit high-quality photography and video content for use across all platforms (social media, website, email, in-Club screens, etc.).
  • Media Development: Work closely with the team to implement comprehensive media that aligns with specific marketing campaigns and broader Club goals. Ensure a strategic mix of promotional, educational, and engagement-focused content.
  • Digital Campaign Management: Plan and execute digital campaigns from start to finish—from initial concept to scheduling—focused on building a vibrant online community.
  • Narrative Excellence: Use "Intentional Storytelling" to highlight Membership, Polo team, unique events, and lifestyle amenities. All content must have a clear purpose connected to the Club’s mission.

II. Collaboration and Support

  • Heavy Cross-Collaboration: Proactively partner with the entire Marketing team on all creative projects. This is a role deeply integrated into the team, not a solo production unit. Graphic design experience is a plus.
  • Departmental Support: Collaborate directly with all departments across the Club (e.g., Fitness, Tennis, Golf, Dining, Events) to support their unique goals and ensure success in their specific initiatives.
  • Brand Consistency: Act as the guardian of visual brand identity, in collaboration with team. Review all content to ensure it maintains brand consistency across all platforms and upholds the Polo Club’s high standards of professionalism and positivity.

III. Execution & Brand Integrity

  • Events & Initiatives: Be present and active at major Club events. Use multi-media to help "bring events and initiatives to life" for those who missed them and generate excitement for the future.
  • Platform Management: Keep all digital communications—across the website, mobile app, and internal platforms—fresh, accurate, engaging, and in compliance with all Club policies.
  • Operational Integration: Build a strong understanding of overall Club operations to support the development of effective, authentic messaging.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Creative Initiative: Proven ability to take ownership, see the "bigger picture," and bring new, creative ideas to the table without being asked.
  • Organizational and Process Skills: Equal parts creator and producer. Must excel at planning, scheduling, and thorough follow-through. This requires exceptional organizational and time-budgeting skills.
  • Collaborative Professionalism: Must have the ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers, and Members. Strong "customer service" mentality.
  • Technical Proficiency: Professional-level skills in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.) are mandatory. Expertise in camera operation, lighting, and sound recording. Graphic design programs like InDesign, Illustrator and Canva are major plus.
  • Communication: Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing.
