Content Creator & Social Media Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, proactive Content Creator & Social Media Assistant to help produce engaging video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other platforms. This person will work closely with an executive to film, direct, and edit short-form videos, attend events, and provide support in developing a stronger social media presence. If you love storytelling, social media trends, and hands-on creative work, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

Film and direct short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) — help with angles, lighting, ideas, and on-camera direction.

Edit videos using mobile or desktop tools (CapCut, Reels editor, TikTok editor, etc.).

Accompany the executive to meetings, events, and site visits to capture content.

Provide guidance on on-camera presence, delivery, and trending formats.

Brainstorm creative concepts and help develop content ideas.

Teach and assist the executive in understanding and using social media tools effectively.

Stay updated on social media trends, audio, formats, and engagement best practices.

Requirements

Strong experience creating and editing short-form video content.

Knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends.

Comfortable directing someone on camera.

Ability to work in-person, on the go, and attend events.

Organized, reliable, and proactive attitude.

Photography/videography knowledge.

Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $24.18 - $29.12 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
