About the Role and Objectives:
Working with the Public Relations Director, you will manage and grow ADI’s social media and online presence, focus on profile, marketing, donations, campaigns, rescues, events:

Delivery and promotion of ADI campaigns and policy objectives

Create and Plan content – brainstorm, plan, write, produce, publish content for social posts, blog posts, podcasts, short videos, graphics, websites for ADI (US, UK, Latin America) and ADI Wildlife Sanctuary.

Organize – multinational group of contributors also provide content

Edit copy and visuals from contributors; manage the contributor schedule; maintain and develop consistent policy statements; maintain ADI branding/corporate identity.

Growth: identify and develop new audiences and opportunities, ensuring ADI content resonates and connects with new supporters.

Presence across range of digital platforms: Ensures ADI’s content appears across various online channels, e.g., websites, social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, BlueSky, YouTube), and other opportunities.

Ensures high standard of English and journalistic output on all platforms.
Who should apply:
You are an excellent writer and content creator, a committed animal rights advocate. You have at least 2 years proven experience in content creation and social media (professional or voluntary capacity), preferably in campaigns and animal rights advocacy. You want to work with a US and international team to create content to advocate for animals.
Required Skills

Educated to degree level or equivalent (or relevant experience); writing, digital marketing, communications, or graphic design

Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, MS Office suite, Canva and/or other graphics programs, digital, online research services (ChatGPT is not permitted for writing).

Excellent English, you can create engaging, impactful animal rights content with consistent messaging, focused on ADI campaign priorities.

You can demonstrate a grasp of ADI campaigns and values as well as general animal rights and environmental protection issues.

You are organized, able to manage an international team of contributors to help maintain their contributions to content, schedules, rota and quality of messaging

You are able to work collaboratively with public relations, campaigns, science research and supporter engagement teams.

Plant-based lifestyle preferred.
Terms:
Salary: $60-70,000/year (dependent on experience/qualifications).
Hybrid – remote +LA office.
Permanent, full time, exempt, at-will.
