Content Creator / Storyman – Shoot-to-Edit (Social Media)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Content Creator / Storyman with a natural storytelling instinct, a sharp eye for framing, and fast editing skills for vertical video formats. You should be comfortable shooting content on the go — especially behind-the-scenes footage, short interviews, cultural content, and fast-paced recap videos for social media.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone who thrives in real-time content creation — from planning and filming to post-production. You’ll work closely with the Social Media and Production teams and contribute to content that captures emotion, energy, and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Film short-form, story-driven content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.
• Edit social-first videos in vertical formats with motion, text overlays, and transitions
• Create engaging behind-the-scenes, campaign, event, and day-in-the-life style edits
• Collaborate with the Social Media Manager on content calendars and briefs
• Work closely with creative and production teams during shoots and activations
• Apply cultural awareness to all content and ensure brand tone is reflected accurately
• Turn around edits quickly and creatively under tight deadlines
• Maintain organized content libraries and file systems

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in video content creation and editing for social media
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar mobile editing tools
• Experience filming with phone, mirrorless, or DSLR cameras
• Solid understanding of framing, natural lighting, and fast-paced editing styles
• Excellent grasp of social media trends, formats, and platform best practices
• Comfortable shooting solo and managing your own editing pipeline
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Arabic language skills (spoken and/or written)
• Experience with government or cultural content
• Motion graphics skills using After Effects or Canva Pro
• Experience working with social media influencers or event coverage
• Photography and color grading skills
• Background in journalism, documentary, or storytelling-based content creation
