This role is WFH Flexible, allowing you to blend fieldwork with the comfort of your home office.
As a Content Creator & Visual Storyteller at Coharbor Electric, you will have the chance to work hands-on, capturing the essence of our day-to-day operations and the people who make our projects successful. Whether it's snapping the perfect photo, crafting engaging video stories, or helping conceptualize our next big marketing campaign, your work will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand's presence across various platforms.

Plan, shoot, and edit compelling photo and short-form video content for platforms such as Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, stories, website, and advertisements.

Work closely with our Marketing Specialists to ensure a cohesive visual and narrative storytelling.

Spend time in the field with our Technicians, Managers, and Customers to capture genuine, unscripted moments that highlight the quality and integrity of our work.

Collaborate closely with the marketing team on campaign concepts, storyboards, and shot lists.

Manage and maintain a consistent content schedule and quick-turnaround posting calendar.

Organize and maintain a comprehensive asset library of photos, b-roll, testimonials, and other media.

Travel to various job sites and community events within our service areas for content capture. Hard hats and early mornings will be required.

Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, video, print and in-person.

Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals, using relevant monitoring tools.

Minimum of 3 years of professional photography/videography and editing experience. Experience both in-house and in an agency setting preferred.

Proficient with Canon/Sony mirrorless camera systems, stabilizing equipment (gimbals), professional lighting, and audio equipment (lav mics).

Advanced skill set in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop. Experience with CapCut and DaVinci is a plus.

Capability to shoot and edit independently – highly efficient as a one-person production team when necessary.

Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices. Knowledge of social media algorithms and content performance metrics.

Preference will be given to candidates with a drone license (Part 107) and those with experience or knowledge in the trades or construction sectors.

Must have a portfolio showcasing prior work that reflects your ability to innovate visually and narratively.

A passion for storytelling through multiple media facets, with a keen eye for detail and a creative edge.

Ability to work flexibly and commence journeys to various locations in line with the needs of the role.

Role is a 1099 contract. It is not full time income. This would align with your already thriving photography business. We'd ideally pay per project.
