Content Editor

The Digital Intellect is seeking a skilled Content Editor to oversee the editorial pipeline and ensure every piece of content we deliver meets the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and performance. We're looking for someone who will play a critical role in protecting the quality of our clients' digital presence and elevating the work of our content team.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of editing high-volume SEO content at a fast pace without sacrificing quality. This position requires sharp attention to detail, strong editorial judgment, and the ability to maintain consistent brand voice across a diverse roster of clients. Any candidate should also be familiar with SEO best practices, including keyword placement, internal linking strategy, heading structure, and meta descriptions.

We are only hiring full-time applicants. TDI is a fully remote company based out of South Florida (West Palm Beach). The expectation is that you will be available for work between 9 am - 5 pm EST, Monday - Friday.

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

• Edit a high volume of content each month, ensuring accuracy, clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand voice, SEO best practices, and client guidelines.
• Perform developmental, line, and copyediting to strengthen structure, readability, and overall engagement.
• Maintain consistency in tone, style, formatting, and terminology across all content deliverables.
• Oversee the editorial pipeline, prioritizing tasks based on deadlines and publishing schedules, and ensuring all pieces are polished and client-ready.
• Collaborate with writers, Content Managers, and department leadership to clarify requirements, update project timelines, and resolve workflow bottlenecks.
• Help refine workflows, processes, and editorial standards.
• Provide editorial resources or guidance to support workflow improvements and system updates.
• Use client data and performance tools to refine content for better search visibility, engagement, and overall effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing or English preferred
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides…etc)
• 2-4 years of experience in editing SEO content
• Experience managing editorial calendars

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.

Annual salary will be between $40,000 - $48,000.

Eligible for a performance bonus based on individual achievement, client impact, and company performance.

TDI offers annual merit increases of up to 5%, tied to your performance, contribution, and growth within the band.
