Content Editor – Podcast & Digital Media (Ujjawal Bharat Stories)

Abbeywest is expanding its digital media initiative Ujjawal Bharat Stories, a fast-growing podcast platform featuring inspiring personalities from sports, cinema, politics, and entrepreneurship.

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Editor who understands storytelling, YouTube optimization, and short-form content strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Edit long-form podcast videos into engaging final cuts
• Create high-retention YouTube Shorts & Instagram Reels
• Write powerful titles, captions & SEO-optimized descriptions
• Suggest thumbnail text & hook lines
• Maintain brand tone and storytelling quality
• Improve audience retention & CTR

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media, English, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
• Minimum 6 months – 2 years experience in video/content editing (Podcast or YouTube preferred)
• Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, thumbnails & audience retention
• Basic knowledge of storytelling and content structuring
• Proficiency in video editing tools (Photoshop Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut etc.)
• Good Hindi & English writing skills
• Creative mindset with attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
