Content & Engagement Manager

Travel: Occasional travel, up to 25%
Salary: $70,000-75,000 (Based on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Content & Engagement Manager to support and execute integrated marketing programs that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement within a B2B environment. This role blends digital marketing execution with event planning and management, ensuring a cohesive experience across online and in-person touchpoints.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with social media, digital campaigns, and trade shows or industry events, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Strategy
- Write compelling, audience-focused content for websites, social media, blogs, email campaigns, and other marketing platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing, engineering and product teams to ensure brand messaging is consistent and impactful.
- Conduct research to understand target audiences, trends, and competitive positioning.
- Maintain and evolve the editorial calendar aligned with strategic initiatives and campaign timelines.
Graphic Design & Visual Communication
- Design digital and print collateral including social graphics, infographics, brochures, advertisements, and trade show materials.
- Create brand-consistent visuals that reflect identity standards and campaign goals.
- Video creation (short videos, product videos, reels, other social content, etc.)
- Implement a strategic approach to growing YouTube content and followers.
- Support the creation of internal and external presentations and sales tools.
- Catalog page creation and edits, in coordination with the engineering team
Digital Marketing Support
- Create optimized content for SEO, paid media, and social platforms.
- Assist in website content and graphic updates, including layout enhancements.
- Help craft and optimize email campaigns using platforms like Constant Contact and Active Campaign.
Events & Trade Shows
- Trade show, conferences, webinars, and customer event support
- Support pre- and post-event marketing efforts, including promotions, email campaigns, and lead follow-up
- Ensure consistent brand representation across all events
Collaboration & Project Management
- Work closely with VP Marketing & Communications, Director of PR & Communications, engineering, vendors and other stakeholders to understand creative needs and project goals.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for campaign themes, visuals, and formats.
Brand Stewardship
- Ensure all communications are consistent with brand voice, tone, and visual identity.
- Proactively propose updates to design templates and messaging to enhance brand cohesion and impact.
- Perform regular audits of marketing materials to maintain consistency and relevance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant content creation and design experience.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms.
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with WordPress and email marketing tools such as Constant Contact and Active Campaign.
- Knowledge of video editing and basic animation is a plus.
- Electrical industry experience is a bonus but not required.
