Content Manager

Position Overview

As the Content Team Lead, you will oversee content creation and management across key digital platforms—including the portal, social media, and WhatsApp—to ensure clear, engaging, and consistent communication aligned with government standards. You will also coordinate with creative and technical teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the content team responsible for portal, social media, and WhatsApp platforms.
• Inspired by roles that "lead efforts and develop strategic external digital communication plans" and "manage a team of content creators and designers" Public Affairs CouncilAdzuna.
• Review and approve all content to ensure high quality, clarity, and tone consistency.
• Translate departmental or technical inputs into accessible, citizen-facing language.
• Develop and maintain:
• Content guidelines and style standards
• An editorial calendar
• Approval workflows for seamless, timely content delivery
• (Aligned with standard practices from content manager roles)
• Collaborate with video editors, graphic designers, and technical teams on integrated, multi-format campaigns.
• Track content performance using engagement metrics and feedback—continuously refining strategy based on data.
• Ensure multilingual accuracy and compliance with government communication norms and style guides.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in content creation or digital content management, preferably within government or regulated environments.
• Leadership experience in coordinating editorial or digital teams preferred AdzunaIndeed.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills in English; ability to translate technical inputs into clear, citizen-oriented messaging.
• Strong project management abilities; capable of handling multiple platforms and deadlines.
• Familiarity with content calendars, CMS tools, and common analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Language proficiency and sensitivity to multilingual content requirements in alignment with government policy.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with cross-functional teams (design, video, technical).
• Prior exposure to public sector, government, or policy-driven communication.
• Multilingual writing or translation experience is highly desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
