We’re looking for a motivated Content Manager who can help tell our story — someone passionate about translating complex automotive and technical concepts into engaging, educational content that builds trust and drives business growth.

Position Summary

The Content Manager will manage and execute all aspects of Applied Automotive Technology’s content strategy across digital platforms. Responsibilities include managing brand presence across multiple platforms, including newsletters, social media, email marketing, website updates, and potentially social media and Google Ads. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who enjoys writing, creating, and managing content that drives visibility, leads, and credibility for a growing automotive brand.

You’ll collaborate closely with our technical, sales, and management teams to plan, produce, and publish content that supports brand awareness, lead generation, and customer education.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, write, and edit content such as blog posts, service pages, newsletters, and social media updates. Publish three or more new pieces of content per week.

· Build and maintain an editorial calendar aligned with company goals and seasonal campaigns.

· Translate technical topics (ADAS calibration, diagnostics, repair technology) into clear, accessible content.

· Interview technicians, shop managers, and subject-matter experts to source authentic insights.

· Optimize all content for SEO, search intent, and lead conversion.

· Produce educational and lead-generating content (e.g., guides, videos, and downloadable resources).

· Track and analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar tools.

· Repurpose top-performing content into multiple formats (articles, videos, email campaigns).

· Collaborate with leadership and sales to ensure messaging consistency and strategic alignment.

· Leverage AI tools to speed up the production process.

· Perform other tasks as deemed necessary to support the position responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills

· 2–5 years of experience in content creation, marketing, or communications.

· Bachelor’s, associate degree, or certificate program in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling ability with strong attention to detail.

· Understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, and on-page optimization.

· Familiarity with content management systems (HubSpot, WordPress) and analytics tools.

· Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain a consistent publishing schedule.

· Interest in or knowledge of the automotive industry preferred (but not required).

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.

· Ability to think like an educator, intuitively understanding what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it.

· Incredible people skills. Impeccable writing and editorial skills.
