The Kickback FC is a growing soccer podcast and digital media platform covering the biggest stories in global and domestic football.

Our show focuses on weekly discussions around the , the , and the .

In addition to analyzing the biggest soccer storylines each week, we also interview players, coaches, and influential voices across the sport.

Our goal is to grow The Kickback FC into a leading digital soccer media platform through engaging discussions, compelling interviews, and consistent social media content.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Content Manager & Social Media Producer who will help manage our day-to-day digital presence and grow our audience across social platforms.

This role combines social media management, graphic design, and content planning to turn podcast episodes into engaging daily content.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about soccer and digital media who wants to help build a growing sports platform.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Manage and schedule posts across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, and YouTube Shorts
• Write captions and optimize posts for engagement
• Monitor trends in soccer media and react to major soccer news stories
• Track social media analytics and recommend growth strategies

Graphic Design

• Create quote graphics from podcast discussions and guest interviews
• Design graphics related to major soccer news and storylines
• Create guest announcement graphics and episode promotions
• Maintain a consistent visual brand across all platforms

Content Planning

• Build and maintain a weekly social media content calendar
• Organize podcast clips and highlight key moments from episodes
• Identify and repurpose clips from past interviews and podcast discussions
• Align content with relevant soccer events such as matchdays, tournaments, and major league storylines

Platform Growth

• Help develop creative ideas to grow the podcast audience
• Identify strong moments from podcast episodes that could perform well on social media
• Help develop recurring content series such as player spotlights, debate clips, and quote graphics

Qualifications

• Strong passion and knowledge of soccer
• Familiarity with MLS, Premier League, and women’s soccer
• Experience managing social media accounts or digital communities
• Basic graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage content deadlines

Bonus Skills

• Experience working with podcasts or sports media
• Video editing experience
• Understanding of social media growth strategies

Compensation

Part-time contract role.

Compensation will depend on experience but is expected to range between $150-200 per month depending on the scope of responsibilities.
