About the Role

The Content Marketing Associate helps execute and publish marketing content across Zubko Media’s brands. You will prepare and draft content such as blog posts, website pages, social media updates, and videos using our existing content systems and style guidelines.

This role focuses on reliable execution—turning marketing plans into finished, published content with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Because much of our work centers around gardening education through our ReSprout brand, the role also includes contributing written content based on real experiences in your own garden.

This is a 20-25-hour per week remote position, with opportunities for increased responsibility as capability and reliability are demonstrated.

Success in This Role

Success in this role means reliably turning marketing plans into finished, published content that meets company standards without requiring oversight or repeated corrections.

You will succeed in this role if you:

• Publish content that follows established style guides, formatting standards, and publishing checklists
• Catch and correct errors before work is submitted
• Retain feedback so the same corrections do not reappear in future work
• Consistently meet publishing deadlines
• Manage multiple content projects across different brands and campaigns at the same time

Over time, the goal of this role is for routine content publishing to operate smoothly and independently within the company’s marketing systems.

Key Responsibilities

This role focuses on preparing high-quality marketing content for publication across multiple brands.

• Execute content calendars and content briefs across company brands
• Write and self-edit blog posts, video scripts, social media posts, product descriptions, and email campaigns to company publishing standards
• Draft content in WordPress, social media platforms, YouTube, and email systems for editorial review and approval
• Contribute original gardening content based on real experiences from your own garden
• Prepare affiliate links and supporting marketing assets for publication
• Manage tasks, deadlines, and time tracking using the company’s project management systems
• Maintain clear communication about task status, edits, and questions
• Participate in weekly team meetings and collaborate with editors and other team members

Who You Are

• You are an active gardener who enjoys growing food and learning more about gardening each season.
• You are based in the U.S. and speak English natively.
• You are a strong writer with excellent grammar, punctuation, and editing skills. You naturally notice mistakes and correct them.
• You take pride in precision and double-checking details before work is submitted.
• You are comfortable receiving direct feedback and making revisions, and you apply feedback so the same corrections do not repeat.
• You enjoy learning new tools and systems and can quickly figure out unfamiliar software.
• You manage deadlines well and stay organized when working on multiple projects at once.
• You communicate clearly, ask questions when needed, and keep teammates informed of progress.
• You are independent, positive, and motivated to improve both your skills and the quality of your work.

Compensation

• $20–23 per hour for 20–25 hours per week (part-time employee role)
• Flexible remote work schedule
• Paid monthly via direct deposit
• Additional compensation for original photos or videos created from your garden and used in company content
• Compensation may increase as responsibilities and role levels grow

Growth Path

This role is the first level on our content marketing team.

As reliability, quality, and independent execution are demonstrated, team members may take on increasing responsibility such as editing content created by others, managing larger content or operational initiatives, or contributing to marketing strategy.

Advancement is based on demonstrated capability, consistent performance, and the needs of the business.

Zubko Media is a content marketing company that creates and manages educational online content for both client brands and our own in-house media brands. Our work spans websites, blogs, social media, YouTube, email marketing, and digital products.

Much of our work centers around ReSprout, our in-house gardening brand. ReSprout teaches people how to grow productive, beautiful food gardens at home. Our long-term mission is simple but ambitious: a garden for everyone.

Because we create original educational content, our team members are often creators as well as marketers. Many of the stories and lessons we publish come directly from real-life experiences in the garden.

We are a small, fully remote team that values independence, curiosity, and high-quality work. Team members have significant ownership over their projects and play an important role in helping our content reach and inspire people around the world.
