ConnexFM is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Content Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing and Communications team. This role is ideal for a strong writer and storyteller who thrives in both digital content creation and behind-the-scenes coordination.
The focus of this position is on developing compelling content for web, email, social media, newsletters, blogs, and campaigns that communicate the value of ConnexFM and engage our professional membership. The role also includes supporting the broader marketing team through research, insights gathering, project support, and content organization.
Key Responsibilities
Content Writing & Development
- Research, draft, and edit a variety of marketing content including:
- Blog posts and thought leadership articles
- Website and landing page copy
- Email campaigns and newsletters
- Social media posts and graphics copy
- Interview subject matter experts (SMEs), members, or partners to inform and enrich written content
- Align content with ConnexFM’s voice, branding, and strategic goals
- Maintain and manage the editorial/content calendar
Research & Insights Support
- Conduct background research for campaigns, reports, or content series
- Compile industry data, member quotes, and competitive intelligence to support messaging
- Track relevant trends and use findings to inform strategy and storytelling
- Contribute to the development of marketing insights or internal briefs
Project & Administrative Coordination
- Proofread marketing materials such as presentations, flyers, and event promos
- Help organize and maintain content archives, digital assets, and content libraries
- Assist in coordinating work with freelance designers, writers, and vendors
- Support the upkeep of brand guidelines and asset organization
- Help manage content-related logistics for marketing campaigns and initiatives

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing writing, content development, or digital communications
- Proven experience writing for digital platforms (web, email, social, blogs)
- Strong interviewing and research skills
- Exceptional grammar, writing, and editing abilities
- Comfortable using content and marketing tools such as WordPress, HubSpot, Canva, or similar platforms
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
- Familiarity with SEO principles and audience-first messaging is a plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
