We’re seeking a creative, driven Content Marketing Manager who thrives at the intersection of editorial storytelling, customer advocacy, and thought leadership.

This is a builder role – you’ll help shape the next phase of Zero’s content engine, from fueling our thought-leadership program to crafting customer stories and cross-channel content. You’ll bring a strong SEO mindset to everything you create, ensuring every piece drives visibility, authority, and measurable impact. You will work closely with our Director of Content and Brand and the rest of the content team to bring big ideas to life – with intention.

Requirements:

  • Have 4–8 years of experience in content, journalism, or B2B marketing (cybersecurity a plus).
  • Are a strong writer and editor who can capture different voices – from technical experts to customer advocates.
  • Understand how to tell stories that align to buyer journeys and business impact.
  • Are comfortable collaborating across marketing, product, and customer-facing teams.
  • Have working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and enjoy partnering with an SEO lead to drive organic results.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, creative, cross-functional environment where ideas move quickly.
  • Bonus: experience building or managing customer reference or review programs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage the editorial calendar for Zero’s content and thought-leadership initiatives.

  • Research and pitch ideas that expand our visibility and position Zero as a voice of authority in cybersecurity.
  • Write and edit blogs, interviews, bylines, and narrative-driven pieces that elevate our brand and subject-matter experts.
  • Collaborate with content teammates to align topics with keyword and performance priorities.

Customer Storytelling & Advocacy

  • Own customer content creation: case studies, success stories, spotlight articles, testimonials, and quotes for sales and PR. This includes website updates and management of the Our Customers page.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to surface new proof points and story angles that demonstrate impact.
  • Build and maintain a cadence of customer-driven content for marketing campaigns, website, and social channels.
  • Support our review and reference programs by capturing meaningful customer narratives that drive advocacy.
  • Engage with our customers via our Slack community.

Cross-Channel Collaboration

  • Craft and repurpose core content across blog, email, social, and sales enablement channels.
  • Draft supporting copy for newsletters, social posts, and internal advocacy tools to maximize visibility.
  • Work closely with Demand Gen and Brand to ensure campaigns are fueled with fresh, relevant content.

Optimization & Insights

  • Collaborate with the Senior Content & SEO Manager to analyze performance data and refine content strategy.
  • Track engagement and inbound impact to identify opportunities for new topics or formats.
  • Continuously improve content quality, tone, and resonance through data-driven insights.
