This position requires to be fully on-site, Monday through Friday, during the first 3-months of employment. The position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (up to 3 days per week, subject to change at the company's discretion) after the incumbent demonstrates the ability to manage job duties and time commitments effectively.

The salary range listed in the job posting reflects base compensation only. A target discretionary bonus of 20%, paid monthly and based on company performance, is available in addition to base salary.

JOB SUMMARY

The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality content that ensures a consistent and compelling brand presence across all consumer-facing channels, with a primary focus on, but not limited to, social media, email marketing, and company websites.

The Content Marketing Specialist is an exempt, individual contributor position, reporting directly to the Global Marketing Communications Manager. The position has no direct reports or supervisory responsibility. General discretion and judgement are exercised routinely in the execution of job duties. On a daily basis, this position interacts regularly with internal employees on all levels, as well as external customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Generate content for internal and external communications including websites, social media channels, and digital publications.
  • Create, curate and publish shareable multimedia content (i.e. videos, images, etc.) across various social media platforms to drive audience growth and engagement. Track and monitor performance metrics and optimize accordingly.
  • Create in-house animation and videos to support products and campaigns to grow company video library.
  • Write, edit and publish high-quality content for the company website ensuring it is SEO-friendly and aligns with the brand’s voice and messaging.
  • Design and execute email marketing campaigns, including content creation, audience segmentation and performance analysis.
  • Support public relations activities by developing press releases, industry articles, and other media-facing communications.
  • Support the creation of literature for new products and update literature for existing products.
  • Ensure quality and consistency across all hardcopy and digital materials through thoughtful composition and review.
  • Support corporate identity and adherence to style standards and formats

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business (or related field) or equivalent work experience required
  • 3-5 years’ experience in content creation across a variety of digital and print channels
  • Experience working with email marketing tools and social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Skilled in both Macintosh and PC environments
  • Exceptional document coordination
  • Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Multimedia skills (GIF creation, 3D imaging and/or video production) a plus
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Strong problem solving and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong editing and proofing capabilities
  • Materials handling industry product knowledge and mechanical/technical aptitude a plus.
  • Ability to travel to events or photo/video shoots as needed (approx. once a year). Travel is expected to be primarily local, with mileage reimbursement available if a personal vehicle is used. Air travel within the U.S. or internationally is unlikely but possible.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
