Content moderator trainer

About the Role:

We are looking for a Content Moderator Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs for our content moderation teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in moderation operations, strong understanding of platform policies, and excellent facilitation skills. You will ensure moderators are fully equipped to identify, review, and act on user-generated content according to company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct onboarding and ongoing training sessions for new and existing content moderators.
• Develop, update, and maintain training materials (manuals, presentations, SOPs, e-learning modules).
• Collaborate with Quality, Policy, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on moderation guidelines and updates.
• Deliver refresher training based on policy changes, quality trends, or new tools/processes.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance tracking.
• Coach moderators on quality improvement and provide one-on-one or group support when needed.
• Track and report training metrics (attendance, test scores, knowledge retention, etc.).
• Support calibration sessions and contribute to policy interpretation and case study discussion.
• .Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Psychology, English, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in content moderation or trust & safety operations.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in a training / L&D / process trainer role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching abilities.
• Deep understanding of online community standards, digital media, and content guidelines.
• Comfortable handling sensitive, graphic, or disturbing content in a professional manner.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, or LMS tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
