Job Description : International Content Partnerships & Operations Specialist (Microdramas)

About The Role

Kuku TV is at the forefront of India’s microdrama revolution, delivering short-form, high-impact stories to modern audiences. To scale our global content ecosystem, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive International Content Partnerships & Operations Specialist.

This role will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing relationships with foreign production houses and content agencies, while overseeing end-to-end operational coordination — including agreements, payment processing, and content delivery follow-ups. The role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless collaboration between international partners and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• International Partner Sourcing & Lead Management
• Identify, research, and onboard foreign production houses, studios, and content agencies aligned with Kuku TV’s microdrama vision.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with international partners and stakeholders.
• Manage incoming leads and proactively source new partnership opportunities across global markets.
  
  

Partnership Operations & Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for foreign production houses and agencies throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Coordinate content delivery timelines, milestones, and handovers with internal content and production teams.
• Ensure smooth operational workflows between partners and internal stakeholders.
  
  

Contracts, Agreements & Compliance

• Manage partnership agreements, deal documentation, and contractual follow-ups in coordination with legal and finance teams.
• Ensure all deliverables, rights, and obligations are clearly defined and adhered to.
  
  

Payment & Financial Coordination

• Oversee payment-related processes, including invoicing, payment schedules, and follow-ups with international partners.
• Coordinate closely with finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  
  

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with content, production, legal, finance, and business teams to ensure seamless execution of international partnerships.
• Serve as the bridge between external partners and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently and maintain strong working relationships.
  
  

Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of experience in content partnerships, production coordination, operations, or agency management within media, OTT, or digital content industries.
• Experience working with international production houses, agencies, or global partners is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Hands-on experience with contracts, payments, and operational follow-ups.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Interest in global content trends, storytelling, and short-form/microdrama formats.
