Content & Production Assistant (Freelance)

Job Overview

We are seeking a sharp, creative, and reliable Freelance Content & Production Assistant to support a growing business led by a podcast host, executive producer, and founder. This role extends beyond traditional production support, offering hands-on involvement in content creation, on-location podcast production, and brand development.

You will play a key role in capturing and executing high-quality content across podcast, social, and digital platforms—supporting everything from setup and production to real-time content capture and storytelling. Key ResponsibilitiesPodcast Production (On-Location)

• Assist with setup and breakdown of cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
• Support on-location podcast interviews throughout the Greater Burlington area
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional production environment

Content & Social Media (Required)

• Capture behind-the-scenes photo and video content during shoots and events
• Identify and capture short-form content opportunities in real time
• Assist in creating engaging, social-ready content
• Contribute creative, out-of-the-box ideas to content and storytelling

Brand & Event Support

• Assist at local marketing, branding, and networking events
• Capture content that enhances brand presence and visibility
• Support the overall visual and experiential quality of the brand

General Business Support

• Assist with scheduling, organization, and light administrative tasks
• Support day-to-day operations of a growing content and media platform

Bonus Skills (Highly Valued)

• Video editing experience (short-form content, reels, clips)
• Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok trends
• Experience in podcast production, media, or live event environments

Compensation & Growth

• Starting at $25/hour
• ~10–15 hours per month to start, with strong growth potential
