Content Production Partner

Job Overview
Massey Media is a full-service social media agency looking for a skilled videographer/photographer to partner with us on client content. We have the work and the clients. We just need the right person with the eye and the equipment to help us bring it to life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals and make a significant impact through innovative content creation and management.

Duties

• Film and photograph on-location content for Massey Media clients across Maryland
• Execute the shot list and plan provided on the film sheet before each shoot
• Capture high-quality short-form video (reels, TikTok) and photography optimized for social media
• Bring a strong eye for lighting, framing, composition, and storytelling to every shoot
• Set up and manage your own professional camera equipment on-site
• Direct and guide subjects (clients, staff, customers) during shoots to get usable footage
• Adapt on-site when conditions change while still hitting the planned shots
• Deliver raw or edited files by the agreed deadline in the correct format
• Maintain a professional, friendly presence representing Massey Media to clients
• Communicate availability and confirm shoot details ahead of each session
• Keep content organized and properly labeled for handoff

If editing in-house (bonus role):

• Edit short-form video to platform specs (pacing, captions, transitions, sound)
• Color correct and retouch photos to brand standards
• Deliver edited content ready to post

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of your professional filming equipment
• Your own professional camera and equipment (this is required)
• A strong eye for lighting, framing, and storytelling
• Reliability and professionalism on-site
• Someone who wants to form a real partnership and grow with us
• Based in or able to travel within Maryland
• Ability to develop engaging content tailored for various audiences across multiple channels including e-commerce platforms
• Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail and storytelling ability

This is a partnership role. We are not looking for anyone who runs their own social media agency or has conflicting business interests. We’re looking for creators who want to collaborate and build something together.

Pay: Per content execution, with additional bonus pay for editing. To be determined, once interview is established.

Job Types: Contract, Freelance

Pay: $500.00 - $2,000.00 per month
