Overview
We’re looking for a Content Manager & Video Editor who doesn’t just post content — but directs, edits, plans, coordinates, and optimizes it.
This role owns the alignment of influencer, employee, and brand content to ensure it:
- Matches each creator’s audience
- Drives engagement and conversions
- Preserves long-term ad usage
- Maintains consistency across Instagram & TikTok
- Performs strongly during high-volume tax season
You’ll be hands-on with editing short-form video, managing creators, and ensuring content is polished, on-brand, and high-performing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Influencer Management & Direction (Top Priority)
You will manage and guide multiple influencers with different audiences and content styles.
Responsibilities include:
- Align influencer posting schedules and content themes
- Ensure all contract deliverables are met (posts, stories, timelines)
- Track missed content and ensure it is made up
- Direct creators toward content formats that perform best for their audience
- Coordinate influencer content with brand shoots so everything feels cohesive
- Review influencer footage for quality and performance potential
- Ensure all influencer content is:
- Posted on the brand page first
- Then collabed with the influencer (no exceptions)
- Protect ad usage rights by maintaining brand ownership of content
- 2. Video Editing & Content Optimization (Core Function)
You will edit and optimize short-form content for Instagram and TikTok.
Responsibilities include:
- Edit reels & TikToks from:
- Influencer footage
- Employee content
- Brand shoots
- Improve low-quality footage when possible (cropping, stabilizing, pacing)
- Add:
- Captions
- Hooks
- Light motion graphics when needed
- Ensure content aligns with platform best practices
- Optimize for:
- Retention
- Engagement
- Conversions
- Maintain consistent visual style and brand voice

Responsibilities include:
- Send edited, brand-approved feed and story posts
- Ensure all content is properly watermarked
- Select high-impact clips with strong emotional or aspirational appeal
- Ensure messaging speaks directly to the target audience
4. Employee Content Management
Employees create daily reels and TikToks that must be posted on time.
Responsibilities include:
- Pull daily content from Dropbox
- Lightly edit employee content when needed
- Post to Instagram Feed & TikTok
- Prioritize feed posts over stories
- Maintain high volume with no posting bottlenecks
- Meet strict deadlines tied to employee incentives
5. Brand Content Creation & Editing
You’ll create and edit original content for the brand.
Includes:
- Weekly in-office or on-location shoots
- Capturing:
- Office culture
- Team energy
- Behind-the-scenes moments
- Editing all brand content into high-performing reels & TikToks
- Testing hooks, pacing, and formats
6. Story Management (Very Important)
You will fully own Instagram Stories.
Responsibilities include:
- Editing and posting story content daily
- Adding:
- Engagement stickers
- Intake links
- CTAs
- Using conversational, human copy
- Avoiding direct posting of 5-star reviews
7. DMs & Comments
- Respond to comments and DMs using saved replies
- Escalate complex questions as needed
- Maintain brand voice and professionalism

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,900.00 per month
