About the role
We’re seeking a Content & Social Media Manager who can pair hands-on content creation with strategic leadership and mentorship. This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond day-to-day execution alone and is ready to guide client strategies, mentor junior teammates, and act as a trusted advisor in client meetings.
The Manager will still create content directly, but will also own strategy development, oversee execution quality, and provide leadership across projects. This role sits at the intersection of creativity, analytics, and client relationships.
What you'll do
Social Media & Content Leadership

Lead the development of social content strategies for client campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals and Brand Revolt’s owned media philosophy.

Oversee content calendars and provide strategic direction for social media execution.

Mentor and support specialists/junior team members in content creation and best practices.

Analyze performance metrics, turning insights into strategic recommendations for clients.

Stay ahead of platform changes, trends, and emerging tools to proactively guide clients.

Support on-location content capture when needed (occasional travel required)
Client & Team Leadership

Serve as the primary content lead in client meetings, presenting strategy, results, and recommendations.

Translate client goals into actionable briefs for creative, media, and specialist teams.

Provide feedback on content drafts, visuals, and campaigns to ensure strategic quality and brand consistency.

Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, paid media, and strategy leads to build integrated campaigns.
Content Development

Write and edit long-form content (blogs, newsletters, web copy) when needed.

Contribute to high-priority social content, especially campaign launches or critical moments.

Repurpose and scale content across channels, ensuring consistency in tone and brand positioning.
Qualifications

4–6 years of experience in social media, content marketing, or communications (agency and/or client-facing experience strongly preferred).

Demonstrated ability to lead projects or mentor team members while managing multiple client priorities.

Strong knowledge of platform best practices (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).

Skilled in analyzing data and turning insights into actionable strategies.

Excellent client-facing communication skills; confident in presenting recommendations and results.

Strong writing/editing skills across both short-form and long-form formats.

Experience with Sprout Social, Google Workspace, analytics tools, project management systems (Teamwork, Asana, or similar).

Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 4 weeks annually).

Plus: light video editing, creative direction, or basic SEO knowledge.
