About the role
We’re seeking a Content & Social Media Specialist who is passionate about creating, testing, and scaling digital content that builds audiences, enhances brand trust for our clients, and stays one-step ahead in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
This role leans heavily on social media strategy and short-form content, with secondary responsibilities in long-form writing (blogs, newsletters, etc.).
The ideal candidate understands how to test, measure, and scale content on social platforms, can translate insights into creative ideas, and thrives in a fast-moving agency environment. This role requires adaptability, creativity, and strong communication skills in both written and visual storytelling.
This role will regularly interact with clients to share insights, ideas, and results, and requires the ability to participate in client meetings and present ideas or results in a clear, confident manner.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Management

Plan, create, and manage content calendars across platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) for a diverse client roster.

Test and optimize formats (short-form video, reels, static posts, stories) to identify and scale what works.

Stay ahead of trends, tools, and best practices to keep client strategies fresh and relevant.

Monitor and analyze performance metrics, sharing insights that inform future strategy.

Contribute to community engagement by monitoring conversations and helping shape brand voice online.

Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to translate client goals into high-performing campaigns.

Provide creative briefs, direction or feedback on visual/video assets; light editing experience a plus.

Support on-location content capture when needed (occasional travel required).
Content Development

Write and edit long-form content such as blogs, newsletters, and web copy aligned with client strategies.

Repurpose social learnings into longer storytelling formats, and adapt blogs/newsletters into social snippets.

Ensure content reflects brand voice, tone, and positioning while optimizing for audience engagement.
Qualifications

2–4 years of experience in social media, content marketing, or related communications roles (agency and/or client-facing experience strongly preferred).

Strong understanding of current social media trends, tools, and platform-specific best practices.

Excellent writing and editing skills across both short- and long-form formats.

Comfort with analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.

Ability to connect content tactics to larger brand strategy and client goals

Willing to own projects end-to-end within scope, from concept through delivery in collaboration with teammates.

Strong research and problem-solving skills; comfortable seeking answers independently and proactively.

Excellent adaptability, organization, and communication skills. Able to balance multiple clients and shifting priorities.

Ability to participate in client meetings and present ideas or results in a clear, confident manner.

Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 4 weeks annually).

Plus Skills: experience with tools like Sprout Social, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Slack, and project management platforms (Teamwork, Asana, or similar).
