About the Role
We’re seeking a Content Specialist to lead and execute comprehensive content strategies that align with client objectives, brand voice, and business goals. This role is central to our CMT squad and is ideal for a strategic storyteller who can translate ideas into compelling, high-performing content across channels, formats, and audiences.
You’ll bring deep expertise in storytelling frameworks, content planning, and execution — while managing content workflows, collaborating cross-functionally, and ensuring quality, consistency, and performance. This role also includes leadership responsibilities, guiding support staff and ensuring accountability across content initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute content strategies aligned with client objectives and brand guidelines.
- Plan and manage content calendars to ensure consistent, timely delivery across channels.
- Ensure content strategies integrate seamlessly with broader marketing campaigns.
Storytelling & Narrative Development
- Apply storytelling frameworks such as StoryBrand, Pixar, and Hero’s Journey to craft compelling narratives.
- Maintain high standards for clarity, tone, and structure across all content.
- Educate internal teams and clients on the value and application of storytelling frameworks.
Content Creation & Curation
- Write, edit, script, style, and curate high-quality content for a variety of formats, lengths, and purposes.
- Innovate with new content formats, creative approaches, and emerging trends.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and strategic goals.
Content Repurposing & Optimization
- Refresh, update, and repurpose existing content for different platforms and audiences.
- Maximize the lifecycle and performance of core content assets.
Content Distribution & Performance
- Execute content distribution strategies across owned, earned, and paid channels.
- Utilize CMS and distribution tools to publish and organize content efficiently.
- Monitor content performance using KPIs and adjust strategies to improve engagement and effectiveness.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage assigned content support staff, ensuring accountability and performance.
- Promote alignment with company core values and content standards.
- Ensure team members have the skills, motivation, and capacity to succeed in their roles.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Digital Marketers, Strategists, and other cross-functional teams to integrate content into campaigns.
- Support shared goals by aligning messaging, timing, and execution across departments.
Project Management
- Manage multiple content projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Maintain clear workflows, priorities, and communication across stakeholders.

Required QualificationsExperience & Skills
- Proven experience in content strategy, creation, and management.
- Strong proficiency with the Story Messaging Framework and familiarity with other storytelling frameworks.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and content styling skills.
- Leadership experience managing content teams and workflows.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using CMS platforms and content distribution tools.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Emphasis on storytelling, creative writing, or strategic communication is a plus.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
