Job Overview:
A Content Strategist will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our automotive partners’ and other partners’ websites and their rankings on various search engines by generating targeted and high-quality content. This position will also work directly with the SEO Department to formulate and execute SEO strategies.


Essential Functions:

  • Produce high-quality, creative, easy-to-read, targeted content for iFrog partners.
  • Build web pages for partners with specified design requests in mind.
  • Write optimized and engaging subject lines, preview texts, and content for email marketing.
  • Partner with the SEO Department to ensure all partners have content planned for the upcoming month.
  • Ensure delivery of the monthly plan by the designated deadline(s).
  • Conduct periodic sweeps of partner websites to achieve optimization and keep information up-to-date.
  • Handle periodic projects and produce last-minute and high-priority content pieces.
  • Work with SEO Department to keep up-to-date with any SEO changes.
  • The ability to work on a hybrid 3+2 office/work-from-home model (5 days at the office for the initial 90 days).
  • All other duties as assigned by iFrog Leadership.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-2 years experience in copy and content writing. Recent writing curricula may be substituted.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong self-editing skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Recent SEO certifications and/or training.
  • Knowledge of content management systems, Ex: WordPress, Blox, Webflow, WIX, etc.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing metrics, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Working knowledge of the automotive industry.
  • Recent Google Analytics certification(s).
  • Proficient with Google Suite.
  • Proficient with macOS.


The pay range for this role is:

40,000 - 45,000 USD per year(Hybrid (Easton, Maryland, US))
