Content Team Lead

Responsibilities:
The Content Team Lead will guide and oversee all content marketing efforts. The role will be responsible for overseeing a team while developing and executing a content strategy that supports the credit union's overall marketing and business goals. The role will produce high-quality, engaging and strategically aligned content across multiple formats and channels, including blogs, email campaigns, website copy, social media, video scripts and more.

The Content Team Lead will work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure content is optimized for both users and search engines. The role will maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging framework, manage editorial calendars, assign and review content and ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality. The role will also play a key role in analyzing content performance and making data-driven decisions to refine and improve strategy over time.

This is a hybrid opportunity that will require you to be in office at our Headquarters (in Enola, PA) 2-3 days per week. This position may require in-person training.

  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
  • Experience with and expertise in AP Style
  • Attention to detail that results in ability to review, edit and proofread written pieces
  • Ability to lead a team, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong understanding of SEO, content strategy, and digital marketing principles
  • Experience with content management systems, project management tools, and analytics platforms

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
  • Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
  • Ability to sit for extended time periods
  • Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment
  • Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects

5-8 years of related experience; 1-3 years of leadership/management experience

This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location. We believe in recognizing and rewarding talent, so our compensation packages are thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique qualifications and contributions of each candidate.
