Editorial Content Writer Job Description

The Content Writer will be responsible for crafting high-quality, engaging, and accurate written content across various formats and platforms. This role requires a strong command of language, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt writing styles to meet client or brand requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Write clear, compelling, and original content, such as product descriptions and blogs.

• Content Research: Gather relevant information from websites, images, and documents, and ensure factual accuracy across all deliverables.

• Adherence to Guidelines: Strictly follow the style guides and content briefs to ensure consistency across all formats.

• Revisions and Edits: Incorporate feedback from leads, editors, or clients promptly while maintaining the original intent and quality of the content.

• Time Management: Manage individual workload efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct proofreading to ensure grammatical accuracy, coherence, and clarity before submission.

Peer Mentoring: Ability to support junior team members through guidance and constructive feedback.

Skills Required

• Writing Proficiency: Strong command of English with the ability to write grammatically correct, engaging, and concise content.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to review and refine content for accuracy, tone, and structure.
