About the Role

INCL Media Group is seeking an experienced Digital Journalism & Social Media Specialist to manage and strengthen the digital and social media presence for assignments related to the Ministry of Defence (MoD). The role demands strong journalistic understanding, government communication experience, and hands-on expertise across major social media platforms.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in:
• Digital Journalism
• Social Media Branding
• Managing official Social Media Presence
• Mandatory: At least 1 year of experience working with:
• Central Government / State Government
• Government Department
• PSU (Public Sector Undertaking)
• Government/PSU experience must be supported by valid certificate or proof.

Educational Qualification

• Mandatory: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in
• Journalism & Mass Communication
• (or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor official social media accounts for defence-related communication.
• Create, curate, and publish accurate, responsible, and policy-compliant content.
• Handle daily content planning, posting, and moderation across platforms.
• Coordinate with internal teams and government stakeholders for content approvals.
• Ensure adherence to government communication guidelines and confidentiality norms.
• Track social media performance, engagement, and reach; prepare regular reports.
• Respond professionally to public queries and comments where applicable.
• Support digital storytelling, announcements, campaigns, and awareness initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong background in digital journalism and government communication.
• High confidence and hands-on experience with:
• Facebook
• Twitter (X)
• YouTube
• Instagram
• Excellent written communication skills (English & Hindi preferred).
• Understanding of public communication sensitivity, especially in defence/government sectors.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle high-responsibility content.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and basic performance reporting.
• Strong ethical judgment and content verification skills.

Additional Requirements

• Immediate availability to join.
• Ability to work onsite at the Ministry of Defence location.
• Professional conduct suitable for a government environment.

Compensation

• Fixed Salary: ₹30,000 per month
• Salary is non-negotiable and aligned with project requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
