Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Writing well-structured, clear, and compelling content, including articles, blog posts, product descriptions, social media updates, and website copy.
- Research: Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy, credibility, and relevance of the information.
- SEO Optimization: Implementing SEO best practices, such as keyword research and integration, to increase web traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Editing & Proofreading: Reviewing, editing, and polishing content to ensure high-quality, error-free, and grammatically correct, consistent, and on-brand material.
- Strategy & Collaboration: Collaborating with marketing, design, and SEO teams to develop content strategies, editorial calendars, and to ensure consistent brand voice.
- Analytics: Monitoring content performance metrics (e.g., website traffic, engagement) to measure success and adjust future content.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent Writing & Editing Skills: Exceptional command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Research Skills: Strong ability to find, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
- SEO & Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO best practices, keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs), and digital marketing concepts.
- CMS Proficiency: Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), particularly WordPress.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Creativity: Ability to create original, engaging content, and fresh ideas.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is typically preferred.
